Re: when should I start
Not so much training at 8 weeks as it is introduction. Pack that pup everywhere, let every kid, women and person play with it, rub it and love on it. Then make sure they explore every opportunity they can get. Training I'd start with sit soon, no pressure just a hunk of cheese and some fun. Remember...

So your dumb donkey can kill a turkey. If you can't get within 40 yards of a turkey stay home and play with your contraction, I be...

Re: Want to get started duck/geese hunting
Best piece of advice I can give you is, if you like to chase deer, turkey, or anything else don't start. But if you must here's a list: Calls Lanyard decoys bags for decoys Gore tex Camo (If you don't have it you will if you want to be comfortable) Waders waterproof everything case of steel shot bli...

Re: What will this buck score?
Well, snowy he's close, real close. If I wanted him dead and didn't mind the extra work of worrying about getting caught he would be dead. But alas he's but just another goat, granted a goat with big head gear but just a goat none the less. If he was a drake mallet I'd have wacked that donkey and do...

Should be home around 4:30 if you get there early enough we'll go look at the big ten that made it thru the seasons. This dog is wide, saw him Monday evening.

Muzzleloader and Powerbelt's on game performance
I purchased a new CVA Kodiak before the season this year, in the past I've shot several deer with muzzleloaders. I've owned a Knight and 3 CVA's, this gun has found it's home. I've taken 3 deer with it this season already. The combination of the Kodiak and the 195gr CVA Powerbelt's is incredible. I'...
