I would if I ever had a problem with too much deer meat.

I have donated 3 or 4 to share the harvest in the last 3 years. They were bucks. I eat every doe I kill. I usually eat every buck I kill too, but, I like for them to hang a week before skinning them down. If it is too warm for hanging, I will donate it to share the harvest.

I've been donating to the Share the Harvest With the Hollister Family for a few years now. It makes me feel warm & fuzzy inside to know I'm helping a family in need.

A couple of the Aim Low deer made it to STH this year.

Man, Gutpile, when a fella has an upset stomach to begin with, those feet are tough to look at. I dang near blew my cookies when I saw them.

If he tries to post on the bowhunting forum I suggest you take matters into your own hands Tony.

I only kill what I know the family and I can eat through next season. After 3 doe's I pretty much stop killin for the season unless a bigun buck comes through. Sounds like a good deal for folks though.

I've donated 3, and some parts. Here they don't charge anything to take boned out meat, since I butcher my own, I have donated various chunks of venison.

Winters Meat in Lee's Summit did in '01-'02, but they tried to charge me in '03 so I found a butcher closer to home that will just throw it in with the other donated meat at no cost. The main work is done, all he needs to do is dump it in the grinder and package while he's doing the main batch. The Meat Store in Raytown did this in '03. They are nice people and make some great meat products btw.

This past year I just gave whole deer to two friends who had asked for them.

And yes, I did take the backstraps, loins, and a few roasts' and steaks from the hams, and donated the rest of the meat, so that none went to waste.

I haven't had deer burger made for me in almost 5 years now.
