Congrats Triton, good luck.

Rafe, I had a tree next to me fall on the 31st. Luckily it went the other way, but with nothing else to think about for the next 2 hrs, I just sat there being thankfull it didn't come at me.

Yeah, those 3 foot tall pin oaks can hurt a fellar, big guy. Image

Snowy, that 3 foot tall tree woulda covered you up completely. Don't gripe about them.

Just to let you know about the tournament this past week. I arrived back here in Mo. at 430am Sunday morning after driving straight through from Augusta Ga on Saturday afternoon. I ended up in 48th place and won $2,650 for my weeks stay down there. After the second day, I was 18th, but had a really bad day on Friday and fell out of the top 25 and a chance to fish on the final day. I am beat. We left the motel room everyday at 3:45 am and didnt get back to the room until around 630pm every day...Kind of like a marathon.
That's funny you don't look Druish.

Congrats Triton. I always watch those shows on the Outdoor Channel, and think it would be awesome to do that for a living. If a guy really had that to do as his only income, it might not be as enjoyable as you might think. The past two weeks I have been out of bed, two hours before the sun, every Monday-Friday morning. I can`t seem to get to bed before 10:30 at night either. Throw in a 12-hour shift at work, on Saturday and Sunday, and it`s no wonder I`m a walking zombie half the time.

Get some rest, and enjoy your memories from your well-earned tournament. Image Image

But it was a long time ago, and it was just that one day.

Triton, considering that none of the rest of us were qualified to fish there you are probably the king of the fishermen on here. Congrats on the finish and the tourney. I would like to try that someday but I would never qualify.
